Description
Slim botanical stems rise across a worked, textural ground in Tansy in Green Canvas, a giclee on canvas finished by hand with applied leafing and painted detail. The background is built up in layers so the stems appear to sit within the surface rather than on top of it. The result has depth you can see from an angle rather than the flatness of a straight print, and no two pieces are finished identically. Hand stretched and set in a floater frame, it is built for a tall wall a stair, an entry, or the pier beside a tall window.
