Description
Weather gathers over an open wetland in La Provence Canvas, the sky taking up most of the frame and supplying all of the drama. The land is reduced to a narrow band at the bottom, which is what gives the cloud mass its scale. The tall vertical format is unusual for a landscape and works well where height is needed a stair wall, a narrow pier between windows, or the space beside a tall cabinet. Mounted in a floater frame and finished without glass, the canvas surface reads directly.
