Description
Slim stems reach upward across the two panels of Golden Stems I Canvas, hand painted onto linen with applied leafing catching the light across the woven ground. The leaves turn inward along the stem, which keeps each composition tight and vertical. Because every piece is painted individually, the pair are companions rather than duplicates, and small differences between them are inherent to the process. Hand stretched and mounted in a floater frame, the two hang cleanly side by side above a bed, bench or console.
