Description
Mist swallows a lone tree and the ground beneath it in Foggy Walk Canvas, the whole scene lifted by hand-applied leafing that glints where the light falls. The tree is the only defined element; everything around it dissolves, which is what gives the piece its stillness. Mounted on wood, framed to the image and finished without glass, the surface stays direct and unreflective worth having when the artwork depends on a hand-applied finish. Its square format makes it a straightforward single hang above a console, mantel or bed.
