Description
Cattails and marsh grass fill the full width of Cattail Canvas, drawn so densely that the field reads almost as pattern rather than as a place. There is no horizon and no focal point, which is what gives the piece its all-over, textile-like quality. It holds a wall comfortably in a den, hallway or dining room without demanding to be the only thing there. Mounted in a floater frame with the canvas edge visible and finished without glass, the surface stays direct and matte.
