Description
A broad diagonal band cuts through Carved by Time II Canvas, pale wedges opening above and below it like a fissure in rock. The diagonal gives this canvas more motion than a horizontally banded composition, and the eye follows it corner to corner. Hand-applied acrylic gel relief catches light across the full span of the canvas, so the surface changes as you move past it. Mounted in a floater frame with a linen-wrapped liner and finished without glass, it holds a large wall on its own.
