Description
Lines from familiar carols are lettered by hand across the two panels of Wooded Winter I Framed Art, so the words of the season become the decoration. The script is loose and informal rather than typeset, which gives the pair the warmth of something written out rather than printed. Framed to the image with no mat, the type runs to the frame edge for a clean, poster-like read that carries across a room full of guests. The pair hangs on a mantel, shelf or narrow entry wall through Christmas, then stores flat until next year.
