Description
Light breaks at the upper corner of Tumultuous Sombre Framed Art, catching a pale stretch of field below a heavy tree line. The off-center break gives this sky a diagonal pull that a centered composition does not have, so the piece feels less settled and more charged. Framed to the image, the weather fills the whole opening with no mat to contain it. It hangs alone or as part of a sequence down a hall, in an embossed wood molding.
