Description
Balustrades, a gnarled trunk and flowering foliage give Scenic Scenes II Framed Art more architecture than its companion, the eye traveling along each panel rather than resting. Those built elements break up the canopy and give the panels landmarks to move between. The extended horizontal proportion is built for the wall above a bed, door or cabinetry run, where standard formats leave awkward gaps. Framed to the image, the two panels work together as one continuous scene.
