Description
Game tiles are mounted as objects rather than printed as images in Mahjong Framed Art, a pair of shadow boxes with hand-cut decorative paper matting. The cut-paper surround is worked around each tile individually, which is what lifts the pair above a simple mounted display. The result is closer to a collected curiosity than a picture, making it a good conversation piece for a game room, study or bar area. Individual tiles vary from piece to piece, so no two pairs are composed identically.
