Description
Overlapping planes of warm tone build the composition in Lazy Afternoon Framed Art, the shapes meeting at soft edges rather than hard ones. The artwork is float mounted over a leafed ground and set behind raised matting, so light catches between the layers as you move past it. That layered construction gives the piece depth a flat print cannot match, and makes the framing part of the artwork rather than a surround for it. The square format hangs well on its own above a console, mantel or bed.
