Description
Four bird studies sit within decorative papered borders in La Grieche Birds Framed Art, each finished with hand-applied bevels around the opening. The birds are small within generous surrounds, so the papered border reads as part of the artwork rather than as packaging. Small individually, the four are built for a tight grid or a narrow column, where repetition does the work a single larger piece would. The set brings a collected, antiquarian feel to a study, hallway or powder room.
