Description
Pines frame a bay in Early Pines on Coastline Framed Art, the foreground worked in warm, broken color against cooler water beyond. Trunks rise at the edges of the composition so the view is glimpsed through them rather than laid out flat. The high-key palette and simplified shapes give the piece the confidence of a plein-air study rather than a finished studio painting. A hand-applied leafed inner mat adds a fine reflective line at the opening, lifting the framing above a standard job.
