Description
Long-legged wading birds stand with a stylized, folk-art poise in Bird Balance Framed Art, a pair of hand-finished oils set behind raised matting. The birds are simplified almost to silhouette, which gives them more graphic presence than a naturalistic study would carry. The lifted mat creates real depth between the image and the glass, so the pair rewards a closer look as well as a passing one. The two pieces together cover a generous stretch of wall above a sofa, bed or console.
