Description
Open ground runs to a low horizon under a working sky in Across the Meadow Framed Art, a pair of oils with an easy, unforced realism. Cloud takes up the upper half of each composition, so the pieces feel expansive rather than scenic. Hung together they read as one continuous view, which suits a bedroom, hallway or den where a single piece would look undersized. Matting and a scooped molding with a visible wood grain give the pair a relaxed, rustic finish that sits well in a casual room.
