Andy Morter was first inspired by lighting over 35 years ago, watching his parents build a lighting company which began at the kitchen table of their old Wisconsin farmhouse. Now based in Vermont, he brings deep industry experience—from design and manufacturing to sourcing and sales—to his role as a technically skilled designer at Hubbardton Forge. Constantly seeking creative sparks from unexpected places like frozen ponds or vintage car parts, Andy channels his passion into bespoke lighting design.
