Description
Inspired by the waterfowl it takes its name from, the Migratory Cordless Table Lamp sets a brass Mandrake duck, coated in beeswax, on a granite base. Above the bird, a slim stem lifts an oval tapered metal shade. The granite base gives the piece real heft, a solid counterpoint to the slender stem above it. Light falls forward from the tapered shade, and the rechargeable bulb runs a long evening before it needs a charge, so an evening does not depend on finding an outlet.
