Founded in a Hubbardton barn in 1974 by two University of Vermont graduates, George Chandler and Reed Hampton, who embarked in an artistic, entrepreneurial adventure, Hubbardton Forge relocated in 1988 just down the road to its "forever" home in nearby Castleton.
