In 1905, Einstein published his paper on the theory of relativity, the Wright brothers completed their first flight lasting over 30 minutes, Teddy Roosevelt was President and automobiles were slowly replacing the horse and buggy.
In the same year, Henry Alfred Framburg started H.A. Framburg & Company in Chicago, Illinois.

Over 100 years later, Framburg is still producing the highest quality commercial grade and residential lighting fixtures and each Framburg lighting fixture is still designed and handcrafted in the USA.
