Nuno Pires Da Silva is Vice President of Design for SONNEMAN – A Way of Light, where he is responsible for blending the cutting-edge principles of modern design with the demands of state-of-the-art technology and contemporary culture.

Nuno joined SONNEMAN in 2018, and spent five years under the mentorship of Robert Sonneman, the brand’s eponymous founder. Nuno has a deep passion for design, art and architecture, which drives him to design products that are unique and timeless. He leads a talented multidisciplinary team consisting of industrial designers, graphic designers, and 3D artists.

Nuno is a Portuguese national, born in France, and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Product Design from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa. He has worked in lighting and furniture design, and has collaborated with architecture and design studios across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America over the past 15 years.
