Can this be used to replace a canned light? Is there a larger plate available to cover the canned light hole?
If you wish to replace a recessed light with a Pendant light you will need a recessed light conversion kit. It will allow you to install the pendant and will also include a ceiling canopy which will hide the recessed hole in the ceiling. ELK Lighting have many pendants with included recessed lighting kits.
To remove the glass shade on the Feiss Boulevard 1 Light Mini Pendant P1074ORB, you need to remove the bulb, then unscrew and remove the counter ring from around the bulb socket (which is used to hold the glass in place).
